#14 – What Does Normal Eating Look Like? – What’s the Goal of Binge Eating Recovery?

If you’re struggling with binge eating – constantly restricting and bingeing, it can be difficult to remember what normal eating looks like. We may think that dieting is normal however this is far from normal.
In this episode I will talk about what normal eating looks like and the key goals you should aim for during binge eating recovery.
Here are the 3 signs you are eating normally:
1. after eating a meal or snack, you don’t see it as a calorie count but rather an experience, you enjoy the food without guilt
2. You eat until you are comfortably full, which can be very protective against binge eating but also very helpful to re-regulate your feelings of hunger and satiety
