People struggling with IBS are at a higher risk of struggling with binge eating – but which worsens which? IBS worsens binge eating by encouraging you to avoid meals if you’re in pain or worries of bloating or binge eating which can intensify bloating, abdominal pain, and stool habits? I speak with Alexa Ress who is a gut health expert on SIBO on: – The prevalence of SIBO and misdiagnosis of IBS and SIBO – How SIBO is tested and how SIBO can possibly be treated – Helpful habits to prevent or improve a disrupted gut if you struggle with disordered eating habits
