WILL MY WEIGHT CHANGE DURING BINGE EATING RECOVERY?

It really depends. Some experience weight loss, others don’t. The purpose of the course is to stop binge eating, not lose weight. Once you gain freedom from binge eating, you can choose what you want to do with your weight.

HOW LONG UNTIL I START SEEING RESULTS?

You should start seeing a reduction in binge eating in about 4 weeks. Some notice a change almost instantly, while it may take longer for others. This will depend on how much your binge eating is affecting your quality of life.

WHO IS THIS PROGRAMME FOR?

This program is for anyone who feels their life is being negatively impacted by food and their eating habits. A diagnosis of an eating disorder is not required, you may identify as having ‘disordered eating’ or struggling with binge eating.

But, but but I hear you saying…

It’s only natural to feel nervous about a big decision and you have all the right to, so let me answer some common questions!

BUT... I STILL WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT!

Can I do this online course whilst on a diet? In the end, you decide. BUT I usually advise either/or. Put weight loss on hold while you deal with bingeing and poor body image. Then you'll be in a MUCH better position to reduce weight.


Trying to do both at the same time is contradictory, and it's probably what you've already tried (and failed). So maybe it's time to try something new.

BUT... I'M SCARED I MAY GAIN WEIGHT IN RECOVERY!

The biggest healing fear! And very understandable. For many of us, weight gain led to dieting and bingeing. That was the last thing I needed when things were going to get better. I got it.


Simply put: Every body is unique. Some people lose weight naturally in recovery, some later on when they attain intuitive eating, some stay the same, and some need to gain.


I won't lie and say you'll lose weight - you won't. But I will assist you overcome your phobia of weight gain and teach you how to find your set point weight later in the course.

BUT... I'M SCARED IT WON'T WORK FOR ME!

I exactly know that worrying feeling of putting your all into an endeavour and failing again. You won't fail unless you try and learn from others and the resources. But, here's the issue, staying stuck simply makes things worse.

BUT... I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO COMMIT TO THIS!

A word of advice: if you want results, you must put in the effort. I suggest 2-3 hours each week to understand and apply course information.
